“I’ll never forget the day when my daughter Zoey was asked to join the math decathlon team in 4th grade. After struggling with math in 3rd grade and having low test scores, I was concerned about her future. But thanks to the Southeast Community Foundation’s tutoring program, her test scores skyrocketed, and she gained the confidence to run for Student Council Treasurer in 5th grade. This program helped my daughter by giving her the support she needed to excel in math and beyond. As a parent, it makes me so happy to see Zoey thriving and achieving things I never thought possible. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity my daughters had to be part of this program, and I encourage it to continue so other students can benefit the way my girls have.”
